Currently being performed in Opera Houses around the world, Christopher Tin has used thematic material written by Puccini to compose a new and exciting ending to Turandot. View excerpts from his composition on YouTube for more information.
Composed in 2008 by Chinese composer Hao Weija and also available to be seen on YouTube, this version of the end of Turandot incorporates authentic Chinese melodies as well as original Puccini thematic material for a glorius traditional ending to the opera.
Currently scheduled for its first production in July in Italy, this novel composition by reknowned Musicologist and Composer Deborah Burton provides a new and exciting version of the end of Turandot.
Composed by the late Janet McGuire and edited by Musicologist Charles Morris, this final scene of Turandot is a glorius and thoughtful representation of Puccini's original themes, thoughts and writings on finishing the opera. Included in this version is the original article written by Janet McGuire on why Puccini left enough thematic material for the opera to have been finished in 1926. Truly interesting reading!
